I woke up today feeling immensely blessed! What the hey was I thinking all these months of whining, focusing on my stressful j-o-b and unnecessary anxieties. RESET RESET RESET! Anyway, we had a super awesome (by our standards) 7th birthday celebration of MLS. Nothing fancy but everything memorable to MLS’ little white book. The biggest surprise of the day was when TGL’s boss and kid (same age as MLS) decided to come (and celebrate with us) at 10pm to surprise him with an awesome NERF bike! WHOAH! That was majorly-over-the-top kind of thoughtful gesture. I have never mentioned here how blessed we are with TGL’s boss and family. They are our angels in disguise. They were the kind of people who were always there from day 1 of our settling down here, ever present, even more present than some of TGL’s fam in this State. I know I sound like I am comparing, but one can’t help. At the end of the day, I explained to MLS how blessed he is (think: only grandson in my side of the family and apple of the eyes of many of my friends since I am the first to give birth in our social circle) and how he could repay God for all the blessings he has been receiving.
Now, that MLS’ NERF gear is almost complete, we had to think about his safety so I am currently looking for a cool NERF bike outfit with matching NERF Helmet. But before that, I received an email from TGL this morning reminding me of my DMV exam. He also asked me to check this website: AmericanCarQuotes.com and make a research of how much we could actually save if we combine the Cost of Insurance of our SUV and sedan. With all sincerity, I really would like to be behind the wheels again but I have to overcome my driving anxiety first, that, and many more anxieties I am dealing with at the moment hee hee.
What were your blessings this May so far?
