Feeling the love, receiving God’s grace, sharing the gratitude.
It’s been more than a year since I did this as I have switched and started my monthly Gratitude list.

I just feel, I needed to do this now, so here goes:

    1. My Faith. My God.
    2. My Family. My Friends.
    3. My Strength. My Wisdom. My Discipline. My Determination.
    4. iPhone apps: Viber + Voxer + Facetime.
    5. Lightbulb moments.
    6. Suze Orman tips.
    7. Food in our fridge and pantry.
    8. Updated Dreamboards.
    9. Photos from our San Francisco trip.
    10. Resilience.
  • DAY 1. One Day.

“Take a moment to realize you have never seen your face in person, just reflections and pictures.

Some scientists agree that if you saw a clone of yourself, you wouldn’t recognize it as you, because our idea of what we look like is so different from what we actually look like.”

Yes! I believe in this. Whatever struggle or blessing (say, an approved credit line for business) I encounter in life, there is always a lesson, a reason behind it. A lesson that would change me for the better, the better person that He wants me to be.

    Good Saturday Morning!

Today is my 3rd morning of waking up earlier, between 4-5:30am. At least before 6-7am, my usual wake-up time. If you have been a follower of this blog or my other blogs (you’ve probably lost count hee hee :-P ), you know that being a morning person is something that I have been trying to achieve since we moved here. More so, when I became a stay-at-home mom and was juggling various homemaker chores with my graduate school degree. There is something about the stillness and serenity of the moment before Sunrise that makes my quiet time with myself, and God extra special. I usually start my morning with my daily morning devotional prayers and a lukewarm water with freshly squeezed lemon. Then, I prepare a sumptuous breakfast for my boys, this got to be the biggest meal of our day. TGL is a huge coffee and egg-lover while I make sure that MLS has his stomach full just in case he does not feel like eating their cafeteria food or his packed-lunch. But of course, when I started working, that became a lot more challenging.

I realized that if I want to continue this habit, I need to change 2 things: My Sleeping Pattern and My Diet. I’ve heard somewhere that our peak hours depend on our blood types:

    Type 0: 6am-12pm
    Type A: 12pm-6pm
    Type AB: 6pm-12midnight
    Type B: 12midnight-6am

TGL and I are both Type AB  and this chart is no surprise as we are always on the go around 6pm-12midnight. But then, if I keep doing this for straight 21 days, I might be able to beat this scientific study and be a morning person instead. So what have I been doing for the past 3 days that waking up 4-5:30 am seems like a breeze? I sleep at 11pm or at least start my downtime by 10pm, no TV just iPhone. I also do not take carbs or junkfood at night because I noticed that when I eat carbs and junkfood, I become sluggish the next morning.

I wish to keep doing this especially since I have been trying to aim to be the best version of my Proverbs 31 woman.

“She’s up before dawn, preparing breakfast for her family and organizing her day.” – Proverbs 31:15

    "Limitless Possibilities" ✌

“Limitations live only in our minds.

But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless.”

…and so we are back from our first family travel this year.

It was part of MLS’ 8th birthday celebration and also, an opportunity for us to explore NorCal as we have plans of moving to the West Coast next year. It is a definite plan and I hope the universe conspires in helping us achieve this ultimate goal, to build a home in California. I know people would often say that California is such an expensive and very dense State, that it doesn’t offer the best school systems compared to what MLS is having now. But you know what, to each his own and researching goes a long way. In fact, we have been able to narrow down our list with these 4 cities: Orange County, Irvine, Anaheim and South Pasadena and all of which offer school districts with 8-10 ratings. Houses can be quite costly but we are paying for a good education for our growing boy and hopefully, another addition to the family within the next couple of years.

Despite us loving the Bay Area, I just do not feel that we belong there, most especially since our fields are not IT-centered. I was trying to feel the vibe I felt when I explored the communities of SoCal, but NorCal left me half-hearted. So most likely, we are bound to build a home in SoCal, specifically on cities mentioned above. There is no rush to this plan as we still aimed for MLS to complete his 3rd grade here in the East Coast but in the meantime, please pray that we will be able to land the job of our dreams (yes, I have some particular employer in mind, as well as TGL) and that relocation will be smooth all in God’s Will. Yes, there will be uncertainties and jitters along the way but who says that those 1st few steps will be easy.

More NorCal photos to share in the next few entries, in the meantime, I am finding ways to save on yamaha hs50m at wwbw. Have a good weekend everyone!
