Oscars has always been my February highlight. I’m just extremely glad that dear TGL enjoys watching it with me. I am no critic nor do I am an expert on fashion but I just love compiling my own best-dressed list. If you are a follower of my beauty blog, I always have my Oscars’ best faces-entry posted a tad late hee hee . For this year, I noticed that the make-up trend was nude lipstick with dramatic eyes equals fresh faces! Here are my favorites:

Then, there were a lot of online discussions why people are now loving JLaw over Anne Hathaway. Seriously, I used to really really like Anne Hathaway but I guess after hearing her speeches and interviews, I would remain to be her fan as an actress. But I have to admit that Jennifer Lawrence’s personality is growing on me. Now, that says a lot about my change of heart with Anne Hathaway. Curious? Watch this!

Yes, everybody my happy song is the very popular and gets the most airtime in radio these days, CALL ME MAYBE by Carly Rae Jepsen. C’mon admit it, for once, you found yourself singing a few lines from this song or perhaps seen one of the virtual video parodies in YouTube or in your TV.
I have to tell you though, that my boys, aka TGL and MLS are getting sick of me singing and listening to this song but it makes me really happy so they have to bear with me. I am even trying to convince the both of them to make a video but of course I got a receding NO! These are the days I wish I have a daughter who put up and maybe, join me in my cray-crayness hee hee. Even wishing that my folks and sibs are so into this thing. Yes, I am the clown and the only extrovert member of the family hahaha! TGL and MLS do not have stage frights whatsoever but they would not put themselves into my-kind-of-humiliation-once-in-a-lifetime-performance lol lol lol!

None other than Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale and Friends. They were the cool kids who made the very first Virtual Call Me Maybe Parody. Sadly, this one did not make it into my top 8 (as if it matters).

So the Autumn season has finally kicked in, brrrr!
I woke up to the crispness of the air, breeze painfully cold, yet I am grateful to experience 4 seasons annually.
This may be a little too much for a commitment (especially now that our PC and Laptop have gone dead and I am working on refurbished netbooks only), but I am committing on making a Christmas-countdown-entry-sort-of-daily-thank-yous. Entries may be shorter than my usual blog entries just so I could easily document what made me smile for that specific day. Instagram has been a good medium for an online daily journal, so it would be easier for me to look back by referring to my IG snapshots.
For this day, I am thankful for this wallpaper. This is exactly what I do whenever I feel sad and homesick, I immediately snap out of that feeling. Thank you Barney!
