Instant Cash That Suits Your Needs

There are multiple ways to earn instant cash depending on your personal preferences and needs. You can either secure a payday loan, get an installment loan online through a lender, sell your personal belongings on websites or at yard sales, or even perform small jobs or tasks such as walking your neighbor’s dogs or completing surveys online. Where to: Going West?

| Filed under Family Basics Friends Keep Me Sane Frugal Cubs Happy Feet Money Matters Ms. Kitty My Little Shadow Oh Life Bites Shameless Plugs The Crib The Great Lab This is Work

Lost. I wish it is snowing in this part of the east coast too. 
If you read my 12 goals in 2012 entry, you would notice that we have plans of relocating and moving to the West Coast. This was primarily based on our year last year. Not that we were having difficulties career-wise but more of, we wanted to be closer to our family and close friends. But of course, at the back of our minds, we are still a bit apprehensive because of the economic-stature in that side which up to now is still a little bit unstable. Unlike where we are from, employment rate numbers are improving and in fact, this State we live in is listed as one of the most stable economies and one of the best places to raise a family, not to mention, has good education system.

As of today, we have everything in place, financially, a good Life Insurance for everyone in the family with the best coverage. This, we got after so much researching and comparing various online quotes. Two cars, a complete home furniture, a reasonable amount of savings etc… but we could not get a house yet because we are still unsure where to settle down. We wanted to eventually build our home in the next couple of years.

For the past weeks, I have been receiving these messages from God:

God wants you to know … that fear won’t get you where you want to go. It’s not easy to head off into uncharted waters, but every journey starts with a first step. Fear will keep you from taking that first step, from untying the boat from the dock. Fear will also keep you from making new discoveries. Don’t let fear keep you tied up, set sail and see what God has planned for you.

God wants you to know … that there are times when a change of direction is for your highest good. It takes courage to change direction. Choose the path your heart agrees with and walk with your head high and your eyes open. Don’t be afraid.

To my surprise, this week, both TGL and I got job offers in our very first choice of place, D.C. We love D.C. but we do not have any close friends and relatives there. However, this makes us discern all the more that maybe we wanted to go to the West Coast but God has different plans. For now, we’re playing it by ear and for whatever is worth, God must have wonderful surprises for us this year, the Year of the water Dragon, the year of change and transformation.

Inspiring CNY!

| Filed under Around WWW BE Inspired Ms. Kitty Oh Life Bites Spreading Positivity

Hurrah for me, I am waking up an hour earlier each day.
One of my Twenty-Twelve goals. Early this morning, I did some catching up reading updates on my fave celebrity hot momma, Heidi Klum when I chanced upon this video message from Gabrielle Giffords. I am inspired by her strength despite the circumstances she had faced and struggles that she has been continuously facing.

Wouldn’t you be more grateful each day you are alive?

Giving up is not actually a sign of weakness but rather a strength to move to another direction, a direction He wanted us to go to. Watch this video and be inspired! Have a blessed and inspiring week y’all!

So Beautiful…Can’t Help But Share.

5-petal flower from Ethan. 
A 5-petal flower given to me by my little boy, MLS.

Prayer of Forgiveness (O Aleph)

The tears I shed, I forgive.
The suffering and disappointments, I forgive.
The betrayals and lies, I forgive.
The slandering and scheming, I forgive.
The hatred and persecution, I forgive.
The punches that were given, I forgive.
The shattered dreams, I forgive.
The dead hopes, I forgive.
The disaffection and jealousy, I forgive.
The indifference and ill will, I forgive.
The injustice in the name of justice, I forgive.
The anger and mistreatment, I forgive.
The neglect and oblivion, I forgive.
The world with all its evil, I forgive.

Grief and resentment, I replace with understanding and agreement.
Revolt, I replace with music that comes from my violin.
Pain I replace with oblivion.
Revenge, I replace with victory.

I will be able to love above all discontentment.
To give even when I am stripped of everything.
To work happily even when I find myself in the midst of all obstacles.
To dry tears even when I am still crying.
To believe even when I am discredited.

12 (+1) Goals in 2012

| Filed under Anger Management BE Inspired Diet Files Family Basics Fasting Foodie Friends Keep Me Sane Frugal Cubs Guilty Pleasures Happy Feet Happy Happy Joy Joy Happy Thoughts Hope for the Flowers Money Matters Ms. Kitty My Little Shadow Oh Life Bites Shameless Plugs Spreading Positivity The Crib The Great Lab This is Work Writer's Block

I was never really a fan of New Year’s Resolution. I may have written a few back when I was much much younger but I never really followed what’s on my list. Last year, I began a tradition of writing down my goals and planning out the year ahead on the 1st day of the Year, read: very early in the morning when everyone is still trying to catch up their New Year’s Eve lack of sleep. This was inspired by my friend’s (Irma) gameplan for 2011. I find it so helpful as I was more focused on what my goals are for the rest of the year. Although, I admit that when I was writing down my 11 Goals in 2011, I wasn’t being realistic as I put a lot of items in the list, more so, it was filled with flowery words.

This year, I will recycle some of the goals I aimed at achieving last year (obviously, most of the items were not met/achieved) and just list them down with short phrases. This way, I will be easily reminded of what my goals are in 2012.

EDIT: After more than 2 weeks, I have been sticking to these goals and have been consistent with my commitment. I guess I am off to a productive and more focused 2012.

Twenty.Twelve. 

  1. WEIGHT GOAL: 110 lbs. Food Portion Control + Regular Exercise. (in the process)
  2. DETOX for 1 Week + Fasting & Prayer 3x. (done with 1 Fasting&Prayer and another 1, ongoing)
  3. MEAL PLANNING for the rest of the year which would lead to more savings. (in the process)
  4. SAVE MORE. (would you believe me if I tell you that we were able to save $200 food budget because of successful meal planning for the 1st 3 weeks of the year?) (in the process)
  5. DRIVE or at least get myself a driver’s license.
  6. HABITS/VALUES to cultivate: GRACE & DISCIPLINE. (in the process)
  7. MANAGE SLEEP TIME. Sleep Early, Rise Up Earlier. (in the process)
  8. NO PURSE SHOPPING for the rest of the year. (OH YES, I CAN!)
  9. SEND OUT GREETING CARDS + THANK YOU CARDS. (in the process)
  10. EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES for MLS: Soccer, Taekwondo and Music Classes.
  11. CREATE AT LEAST 8 PHOTOBOOKS by the end of the year.
  12. WEST COAST OCULAR VISIT. (especially for TGL, more on this later)

PLUS (1) #13. JOBHUNTING in the WEST COAST.

I’ll stop at 13 because I know this list is way too much to accomplish in a year but yes, I am pushing myself and I believe I can do this. Now, all I need is a unified communications platform that would remind me if I am behind with my goals this year.
